
Jessica Byron graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts
in Geology and Environmental Science. Her studies have focused on issues
regarding geochemistry, seismology, ecology and human environment relations
and have allowed her to participate in numerous field-oriented studies in
Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Nepal, China, and Thailand. While pursuing her
degree, Jessica was also a four-year member of the Women’s Division I Soccer
program, earning Academic All-Mac distinctions.
Jessica was born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana, where she developed a strong
passion for volunteerism and youth development and actively engaged in

as a Sage Educator. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the rustic beauty of the Bay Area,
camping, running, and playing pick-up soccer with the locals.
